Hanna Schrage is a London-based Video Designer whose work spans theatre, live music, and exhibitions. Coming from a background in illustration, she was drawn to video design as a way to expand world-building from the page into three-dimensional, immersive environments.
Her creative approach is narrative-driven, building multi-layered visual worlds across spaces and media. Skilled in 2D and 3D animation as well as real-time workflows and hand-drawing, she brings both technical versatility and strong creative direction to her projects.
As a Senior Designer at FRAY Studio, Hanna has led, co-led and worked on a wide range of projects, including Laufey’s A Matter of Time Tour, the Osaka Expo 2025 Women’s Pavilion Opening Ceremony, projection mapping for Shangri-La’s redesign at Glastonbury Festival, and video exhibits for the London Museum’s new campus.
She holds an MA in Visual Communication from the Royal College of Art, London, supported by a DAAD scholarship, and a BA in Visual Communication with distinction from HSD Düsseldorf.
